• Full-body photos you upload as avatars
• AI-generated avatars created from your selfies
• Optional body type selection (slim, average, athletic, plus)
• Optional body measurements you provide (height, weight, chest, waist, hips)

1.3 Virtual Try-On Data

When you use the virtual try-on feature, we collect:

• Generated try-on result images
• The URL and title of the webpage where you initiated the try-on
• Garment images you selected (temporarily, for processing only)

1.4 Technical Data

We automatically collect:

• Extension version and settings
• Gender preference setting (male, female, unisex)
• Error logs for debugging purposes

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Authenticate you and maintain your account
• Store your avatars for virtual try-on generation
• Process virtual try-on requests using AI (dress your avatar with selected garments)
• Validate avatar image quality before use
• Generate full-body avatars from selfie photos
• Save your try-on history in the Wardrobe for future reference
• Improve our service and fix bugs

3. Third-Party Services

3.1 Google Firebase

We use Google Firebase for:

• Authentication: Secure sign-in with your Google account via Chrome Identity API
• Cloud Firestore: Storing your avatars, try-on results, and preferences

Firebase stores all data in Google Cloud servers with encryption in transit (HTTPS).

3.2 Google Gemini AI API

We use Google Gemini AI to:

• Generate virtual try-on images from your avatar and selected garments
• Validate avatar image quality (scoring 1-10)
• Generate full-body avatars from selfie photos

When you use any AI feature, your images are sent to Google's AI servers for processing. These images are:

• Used solely to generate your requested result
• Not stored by Google after processing
• Not used for AI training purposes

3.3 Chrome Web Store Compliance

This extension's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically:

• We only use Google user data (email, name, profile photo) for authentication and account identification
• We do not transfer this data to third parties except as required for service operation
• We do not use Google user data for serving advertisements
• We do not use Google user data for training AI models

4. Data Storage and Security

4.1 Where Your Data is Stored

• All data is stored in Google Cloud (Firebase Firestore) servers
• Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS
• Images are compressed before storage:
  • Avatars: max 800px, quality 0.8
  • Generated avatars: max 800px, quality 0.8
  • Source selfies: max 400px, quality 0.7
  • Try-on results: max 1024px, quality 0.85

4.2 Security Measures

• Firebase Security Rules restrict data access to authenticated users only
• Each user can only read, create, update, and delete their own data
• No cross-user data access is possible
• We do not share your data with third parties except as described above

5. Data Retention

• Avatars: Stored until you delete them or request account deletion
• Try-On Results: Stored until you delete them or request account deletion
• Account Data: Retained as long as you have an account with us
• Garment Images: Not stored - used temporarily for AI processing only

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: View all data we have stored about you within the extension
• Delete: Remove individual avatars and try-on results at any time through the Wardrobe
• Account Deletion: Request complete deletion of your account and all associated data
• Data Export: Request a copy of your data

7. Children's Privacy

FitCheck is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us immediately.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
